LIVING IN THE NOW.
So often we are so engulfed with the thoughts of the past or worrying about what the future holds that we forget to live in the present.we are not promised tomorrow.and we have enough grace for today.if we can concentrate on what is going on in our life right now and be fully present we can achieve a lot more.practising mindfulness reduces stress and reduces high blood pressure. Though there is nothing wrong with thinking about the past or future but if u are always stuck in the past you wont be able to live in the moment thereby missing out on the amazing things going on around you at the moment.Most of the things you worry about don’t happen,even if it happens that means you have to worry twice.
TIPS FOR LIVING IN THE NOW.
-always remember that God has got you covered,and if God can cloth the birds of the air how much more will he take care of your tomorrow.
-yesterday is gone ,forget about it,today is a gift that’s why its called ‘the present’.
-Whind down before going to sleep.
-Always remember that you are not promised tomorow so do the best you can today.
INCREASING YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE.
There is so many reasons why people develop low self confidence.it can be either as a result of:
-bullying :Getting constantly bullied or insulted can make one develop low self esteem.
-physical illness: illness that affect one’s physical appearance can also affect the way you see yourself.
-Unemployment or inability to get a job: Being unemployed for ages can knock down one’s self confidence expecially if you have to depend on people for your survival. –
– Abusive relationship: Being in a relationship where you are constantly being treated inhumanly or less than you should be treated can also knock down one’s selfconfidence.
HOW TO INCREASE SELF CONFIDENCE
-Putting yourself first and knowing when to say NO.This is the number one key of overcoming low self esteem.Getting out of any relationship that doesn’t feel right and walking away from situations that threathen your sanity.
-Be in control of your decision.stop letting people tell you what to think or how to feel.
-Don’t compare yourself to anybody.Everybody is on a unique journey.
-Focus on your strengths and positives.
-Forgive yourself when you make mistakes.And pat yourself on the back after the days job.
-Setting boundries also improves ones self esteem don’t let people walk allover you.Not letting people go beyond certain limits in your life
Depression is a run down feeling or a lack of ability to find pleasure in the activity going on in one’s life.
HOW TO OVERCOME DEPRESSION
-Find healthy close relationship and spend time with loved ones.Get a good support system and be around lively bubbly people.Also try to build your relationship skills.
-Lack of sleep can create problems so try and get more sleep.A good night sleep improves your emotional wellbeing.Also when you feel overwhelmed take a walk or go to the gym.Go to the park and play more.
-Change your diet.too much junk food,drinking or smoking can make you feel sluggish and weak.Eat lots of nutritious food like fruits and vegetables,wholegrain and wholefood.salmon and sardines are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which is good for the brain.drink lots of water.
-Volunteer to help the less priviledged .when u serve people you feel happier and it makes you appreciate life more.and you realise that people wish they have the things you take for granted.
-Evaluate your thought pattern and avoid negative thought patterns.
TIPS FOR LIVING A POSITIVE ORIENTED LIFE the world is full of negativity and changing one’s perception from negative to positive is important for living a wholesome happy life.I have written some tips for a positive oriented life.

SET GOALS AND MAKE PLANS TO ACHIEVE THEM:When you set goals make daily plans and routines to achieve them.ambiguous goals can be overwhelming and leads to procrastination.a popular adage says if you fail to plan you have planned to fail.wake up early.the earlier you wake the more you get from the day.
POSITIVE MINDSET. Positive mindset is important if we are going to have a positive impact in our lives.we need to see the positive side of life.we should always have a positive expectation for the future.The bible says as a man thinketh so is he.The enemy is always fighting our mind, the enemy knows that God’s people are protected and cannot be touched so the enemy knows that if he can get your mind he can control you that’s why he puts negative thoughts in your mind but we need to constantly replace those negative thoughts with the word of God.
FORGIVE YOUR ENEMIES. The is a popular saying the unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die.its important to forgive enemies and offenders because it keeps them off your mind,and gives you the inner peace and healing you need.Forgiveness also makes it possible for your prayers to be answered and it unhinders your prayers.like the psalmist says forgive us as we forgive those who sin against us.That means for us to get God’s forgiveness we have to give forgiveness.
