  2. it is very important to be kind, not for the others but for ourselves. If we are kind and compassionate we are unknowingly contributing to creating a better peaceful world. Smiling is definitely the first step.

  3. Aww, it’s so nice and refreshing to read something about kindness. I think that if everyone was less focused on themselves and took a few minutes each day to show kindness, not only would the world be a better place, but every single person would be a better human.

  4. The world would be a much better place if everyone had read this post. I always give my seat up to someone who is either pregnant or elderly in the bus – it’s good manners xx

  9. Love this! And that it can be as simple as a smile!
Didn’t think about it in terms of heart health. But it makes sense now that u mention it! I like to try and apply it in the check out isle when everyone is standing there waiting for the transaction to go thru. Sometimes it takes a minute for people to process that u r just trying to be kind– because they r so not used to it! 🙂

    Thanks for the post!

  10. I wish people were more kind to each other, but I am afraid that is not possible. Life makes us bitter and we forget this simple trait unfortunately.

  11. A very simple but strong article! I do agree with you on many off these statements. Especially telling your loved ones that you love them! Sometimes thats maybe the difference to them having a bad day to having a good day!

  12. The act of kindness is so important. We practice this always. We’ve started trying to instil this important value into our boys. Right now we are doing payfunforward where we leave toys or fun things for other children to have. Our boys are really enjoying the act of giving.

  13. Thanks for this reminder. I am a firm believer in “what goes around comes back around.” I would also add that it’s important to show kindness to those who are from other cultures! Thanks for a great post.

  17. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
